Knesset sets last day for pre-election polls

The Knesset Law Committee approved an amendment to the election law Monday that would make the last day for publishing pre-election polls the Friday before the election. The law was brought forth by MKs from across the political spectrum including NU-NRP, Meretz, Labor, and Kadima who felt that the public was overly influenced by the polls.
