World Series of Poker has an Israeli-born gold bracelet winner for the first time, as Tomer Berda won Event 56 in Las Vegas this week.His recent success has earned him US $825,976Born in Israel, and his net total now stands at $975,084.the 34-yearold Berda moved in 1998 to California, where he currently owns a successful high-tech company.Starting slowly, Berda found recently that online poker games kept him challenged, but it was not until this year that he found his true passion in poker Berda joined the Texas Hold'em tournaments in Las-Vegas Before Berda’s successful victory he had to endure 12 professional defeats.Berda now has one win, two final table appearances, and four cashes at the world series of poker.
