These horrific scenes appearing to show Muammar Gaddafi's opponents being abused at a Libyan detention centre were caught on amateur video.
The prisoners seem to be held in a shipping container.
There's no way to confirm when the footage was shot.
The footage was obtained in the town of Al Khoms where a detention center used by Gaddafi's forces was discovered at the weekend.
Fifty-four-year-old teacher Mohammed Ahmed Ali says he was held with other prisoners in a shipping container with no light and little water.
In the savage North African heat and with scarce ventilation he says many suffocated to death.
