The death toll from the Coronavirus continues to rise, as new cases are diagnosed worldwide. As of Tuesday the fatalities had been contained in China, although cases were confirmed in German, America, France, Australia, Hong Kong, Malasyia and others.The virus originated in Wuhan, a city of 11 million inhabitants in Hubei Province. The city was locked down by authorities on Wednesday in a bid to contain the spread of the novel virus. So far, 12 cities have been placed under quarantine, affecting some 35 million residents.
