The IDF stated on Thursday that an errant projectile from fighting in Syria landed inside Israel's northern Golan Heights. No damage or injuries were reported.
In response, the IDF attacked the source of the projectile.
The IDF said it ''will not tolerate any attempt to harm the sovereignty of the State of Israel and the security of its residents'' and that they hold the Syrian regime accountable for what happens in its territory.
