IDF troops and tanks are being mobilized by the Gaza Strip border on Tuesday morning, in anticipation of a possible ground invasion inside Gaza.

IDF fighter planes hit roughly 150 terrorist targets throughout the Gaza Strip as of Tuesday morning, according to the IDF Spokesperson's Office. The targets belonged to Hamas and Islamic Jihad terror organizations.

A weapons storehouse in Khan Yunis, a military compound in Zeitun, and a weapons production site in Sheikh Omdan were  attacked.

In addition, IDF naval forces attacked a vessel belonging to the Hamas naval force at Ma'agan Nuseirat in the southern Gaza Strip.

The IDF is still currently carrying out airstrikes at this time, according to the IDF spokesperson.


A botched raid by IDF special forces in the city of Khan Yunis on Sunday night led to the death of a top Hamas commander and seven Palestinians. An  IDF lieutenant colonel was killed and an IDF soldier was moderately injured.

In return, there has been a heavy barrage of rockets fired toward southern Israel ever since, causing one death and many injuries.
