The Monte Carlo Ballet, under the auspices of Princess Caroline of Monaco, will perform The Dream, based on Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Altro Canto I & II, by Jean-Christophe Maillot, on its visit to Tel Aviv next month. The ballet's engagement at the Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center will see 50 company members come to our shores, along with choreographer Maillot.
The ballet's roots are in the 1911 company formed by Russian choreographer Sergei Diaghilev.
The company will perform in Israel from June 16-18.
