French puppeteer Philippe Genty is bringing his newest work, Boliloc, to Israel in March. The piece is an imaginary trip that combines dance, theater, puppets, props and lighting to create a humorous journey through time, space, memory and the human body. Boliloc is the story of a ventriloquist put to the test when her dummies rebel.
Israel is one of the first foreign engagements for Boliloc, which was created about a year ago together with Genty's wife, Mary Underwood. This will be Genty's eighth visit to Israel. Tickets to shows in Herzliya, Haifa, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv are available through Bimot.
