The Disney Channel - known for such shows as Hanna Montana and The Mickey Mouse Club - is being launched in Israel this September. The Walt Disney Co. (EMEA) announced on Sunday that the Israeli channel would include these and other favorites, such as the animated series Phineas and Ferb and original movies such as High School Musical and Camp Rock. The channel, which has a target audience ranging from preschool-age children to teens and families, will also dub its shows for Israeli audiences and create new shows using local actors.
