A new cinematheque in Holon will have a festive opening on October 6 with two short films by Israeli humorist, author and director Ephraim Kishon that have never been screened before. A prize will be presented to Israeli actress/director/screenwriter Ronit Elkabetz, whose latest film, 7 Days, just took the top prize at the Jerusalem Film Festival. There will also be a presentation of Project Focus, featuring films by young Israeli directors, and the opening of the "Animatek," devoted to Israeli animated films.
