American pop singing sensation Kelly Clarkson is set to perform for the first time in Israel on March 26th and 27th in Tel Aviv. The singer, who has become enormously popular in Israel with her hit songs "Since U Been Gone" and "Breakaway," will perform at the Hangar 11 club. Clarkson was quoted in the Israeli media late last year that she was excited about coming to Israel. "It's amazing that in such a far away place that I have fans that want me to come to play." The guitarist in Clarkson's band is Israeli musician Danny Weiss, who has been encouraging her to include Israel on her upcoming tour.
