Techno soul singer and experimental producer Jamie Lidell will make his Israel debut on May 15 at Zappa in Tel Aviv. The British Lidell emerged in the late 1990s as a successful producer of techno dance grooves, but has grown into an engaging performer - thanks to his engaging vocals and innovative recording techniques, including tape-loop harmonies. According to Blogcritics.com, Lidell is "part a cappella, part live experimentalism... who creates live vocal harmonies, all with awe-inspiring ease. It's one of those performances that has to be seen more than heard to fully appreciate."
