Israel suspends EU role in peace process with Palestinians
Israel said on Sunday it was suspending contacts with European Union bodies involved in peace efforts with the Palestinians after the bloc started requiring the labelling of exports from Israeli settlements in the West Bank.

As much as I look forward to it being true, I've been around too long to believe it. Especially when it comes to politicians I just don't believe a word they say, especially when it's something I agree with. Yes, I've become a terrible cynic.I'd believe it more if the government had begun to expel all the Leftist European and United Nations NGOs that support Arab terrorism!

There's only one thing I believe and that is the simple fact that a politician will say anything he/she believes will get votes. Speeches will change according to the audience and occasion. The job of a speechwriter is to fine-tune a speech for the most applause. The other crucial criteria for a politician is to make his/her financial backers happy. And since some of the Likud/Bibi backers also invest in Judea/Samaria businesses, like the prize-winning excellent wine companies, Netanyahu must react strongly to the EU labeling issue. You know what they say about following the money....
