Radical Islamist forces control the Temple Mount.
And there is no status quo there either, no matter what the police claim.
Combined with Jordanian interference, wicked Waqf witches and other elements, Israel officialdom is making a big mistake in presuming it can isolate the Temple Mount from alteration and/or save it for King Abdallah to keep him close.
