A large forest fire broke out in the Ramot neighborhood of Jerusalem on Thursday.

Residents in the area were asked to evacuate their homes due to high winds in the area, fearing the fire could rapidly spread to residential areas, according to a Fire and Rescue team statement.

Meanwhile, a second fire broke out near Gush Tefen in the North. At least four fire and rescue teams are on the scene attempting to contain the blaze.
