9 people hurt in two separate car accidents

A man was seriously injured and three others lightly injured Thursday afternoon in a car accident on Road No. 4, near Holot Interchange. A preliminary investigation revealed that the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the crash was trying to do a u-turn, and hit the other car in the middle of turning. The injured were taken to Tel Hashomer Hospital for treatment. Elsewhere, a man was moderately injured and for others lightly in a collision between two cars in the Sha'ar Efraim junction. Magen David Adom - Yarkon unit paramedics evacuated the injured to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba.
