Agriculture Ministry workers continued to spray pesticides throughout the day on Wednesday following the entrance of three new swarms overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday, the office reported.The bugs had landed in wheat and pea fields in Ruhama, in a relatively small area near the Lavan Stream and in Park Golda at Telilim Junction, the ministry said.When the spraying concluded in the mid-afternoon on Wednesday, the ministry deemed the efforts largely successful.The Agriculture Ministry will continue to monitor the situation in both Egypt and Israel, as the locust onslaught into this country concludes its ninth day, the office said.
