Candidate for Labor Party leadership MK Amir Peretz (Labor) was examined by MDA teams in Gush Halav after fainting Saturday during a campaign event in the Upper Galilee village. Peretz’s medical condition was attributed to a combination of dehydration and exhaustion, but the would-be Labor leader did not require hospitalization after the incident. After an hour of rest, Peretz, who announced his candidacy earlier this month, was back on his feet – and on the campaign trail.
