Anti-Israeli hackers attacked Monday Azerbaijani websites, in an assault against the Muslim country's alliance with Israel, AFP reported.

According to AFP, the hackers broke into the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry's website, replacing the homepage with an image of a devil hovering over President Shimon Peres and Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev as they shake hands.

They also reportedly left threats and anti-Israeli messages on ministerial and party websites, with posts such as "you are servants of the Jews."
