Once again, dozens of Arabs and left-wing activists held violent demonstrations Friday afternoon against the West Bank security barrier in the villages of Bil'in and Na'alin, west of Ramallah. The demonstrators hurled rocks at security forces, who responded by taking crowd dispersal measures. Also Friday afternoon, some 2,000 Arabs and left-wing Israelis marched from the center of Jerusalem to the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood to protest what they say are injustices committed against Arabs by Jews from the Shimon Hatzadik community there.
