The IDF released footage on Monday evening showing an Israeli fighter pilot evading an Iranian interceptor missile launched toward his fighter jet.
In the footage, the pilot is heard warning of "another launch" toward the aircraft, before noting he is "climbing over the skies" to evade the missile.
Israel carries out thousands of flights over Iran's skies
So far, the Israel Air Force has carried out approximately 1,000 combat sorties in the skies of Iran, carrying out joint strikes with the US Air Force on facilities linked to the Islamic regime, the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, and the Basij militia.
Israel estimates that some 1,000-1,500 members of the IGRC and Iranian security forces have been killed in the strikes so far, an Israeli source told The Jerusalem Post.
Some estimates suggest much higher numbers, but the more conservative assessment speaks of over 1,000 fatalities among Iranian security forces.
US military says over 1,250 targets struck in Iran
Meanwhile, the US military said on Monday that it had struck over 1,250 targets in Iran since operations started on Saturday.
In a separate statement, the US military's Central Command said it had struck and destroyed 11 Iranian ships.
