Barak: IDF dealt with border infiltration properly

Defense Minister Ehud Barak on Sunday said that the IDF commanders at the Syrian and Lebanese borders acted properly in dealing with Nakba Day protesters attempting to infiltrate the border.
Barak told Channel 2 that IDF forces fired at the legs of protesters after all other measures for dispersing crowds proved futile. He praised the forces, saying their restraint prevented many more deaths.
