Defense Minister Ehud Barak landed in Washington DC Wednesday evening for meetings with senior US officials, primarily over the issue of Iran's nuclear armament, Army Radio reported.

Barak was scheduled to meet with US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, National Security Advisor Tom Donilon, and other senior government officials.

Barak will speak Thursday at the Reform Jewish movement's annual conference in the city, and on Friday he will attend US President Barack Obama's speech at the same forum.
