Bayit Yehudi vetoed a bill proposal to allow women into the committee that chooses the chief rabbi, Justice Minister Tzipi Livni's office said on Thursday."This is an inappropriate use of the right to veto a moral law that was approved by all other coalition factions, and that could bring equality to the Orthodox and ultra Orthodox sectors," the statement said.Livni decided to retaliate and veto a Bayit Yehudi bill proposal.
