Slovenian authorities on Monday located the body of Israeli tourist Avi Cohen, who drifted away during a rafting trip Sunday after his boat collided with a rock and capsized.

Cohen, 48, from Hadera, was in the boat with three other Israelis and a guide, who all safely returned to shore after the boat capsized.

Slovenian authorities began searching for Cohen on Sunday, but gave up their search at nightfall. They resumed their search on Monday morning, discovering Cohen near the site where the boat capsized.

The Foreign Ministry was working to fly Cohen's body back to Israel for burial.
