Bomb attack hits Italian peacekeepers in Lebanon

BEIRUT - An Italian UN peacekeeping vehicle was blown up by a bomb in southern Lebanon on Friday, and five soldiers were wounded, a Reuters photographer said.

The explosion occurred on a highway leading to the southern port city of Sidon, the photographer said.
