Clashes reported in Bethlehem

The Red Crescent reports that rubber bullets were used by Israeli security during a Bethlehem protest.

Clashes between Palestinian protesters and Israeli security had been reported on in north Bethlehem on Saturday.

A social media account which is supportive of Hamas claimed that tear gas and rubber bullets had been used.

Palestinians and Arab-Israelis protested during Friday and Saturday in both Israel and PA held areas against the recent US decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
