Court sentences Saban to 18 years for human trafficking

The Tel Aviv District Court on Thursday gave an 18-year sentence to Rami Saban, who headed an international human trafficking network for prostitution.
The judges noted in the sentence that the defendants brought woman to Israel on false claims, imposed fear upon them, forced them to work for minimal pay, and dehumanized them.
The judges sentenced Saban's partners, Shmuel Malka and David Moraidi, to ten years. Moraidi's brother Kobi was sentenced to six years.
