An earthquake measuring 7.2 struck off the coast of the island of Mindanao in the Philippines at 2023 GMT on Friday, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said.

The quake was measured at a depth of 10 km, 68 km south of the city of General Santos, the Center added.
