Edri to face disciplinary hearing, no criminal charges

Israel Police's internal affairs division on Thursday recommended that Nissim Edri face disciplinary action and not a criminal indictment for concealing complaints against his superior, Asst.-Ch. Nisso Shaham.

Edri is accused of not passing along to internal affairs a complaint he received against Shaham. Investigators said he denied ever receiving the complaint until the end of his interrogation, when he was confronted with the officer who handed him the complaint.
