El Al flight bound for New York lands in Norway due to ill passenger

A New York-bound El Al flight that departed from Ben-Gurion Airport on Friday was forced to make an unscheduled stop in Norway after one of the passengers on board fell ill.

Upon landing in Norway, the ill passenger was rushed to hospital for treatment. The flight to New York resumed shortly thereafter, with the airline saying that the incident will not affect plane schedules.
