A 40-year-old man was seriously injured in the Eshkol Regional Council area from a mortar shell fired from Gaza.

A second man moderately injured by shrapnel in his stomach, and a third man was being treated for shock.

Paramedics said the injured appear to be foreign workers.

An electric pole and a vehicle were damaged as well.
