Some 50 Israelis remain unaccounted for in Nepal after a massive earthquake struck the country on Saturday, claiming the lives of over 3,800 people.

The Foreign Ministry said those still missing are not believed to be in danger.

The absence of phone service in the aftermath of the quake has made it difficult to locate Israelis known to be in the country.
