Former US president Bill Clinton was due to visit Israel in June.

Clinton was expected to give a lecture on June 17 as part of a conference on sustainability and sustainable development hosted by the Peres Academic Center in Rehovot.

President Shimon Peres and Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael- Jewish National Fund chairman Efi Stenzler were to attend the event along with other leaders from KKL and members of the Academic Center.
