Gov't will continue to oversee BoI salaries, Netanyahu decides

The government will continue to oversee the salaries of Bank of Israel employees, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu ruled Tuesday night. Netanyahu's decision supported Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz and was against the position of BoI Governor Stanley Fischer. However, Netanyahu ruled that an appeals committee would be set up to resolve issues under dispute.
