Israel has released Palestinian MP and Hamas official Riad al-Amla from prison, Palestinian sources said Sunday. The Israel Prison Service confirmed that Amle was released from jail after completing a prison sentence of 43 months for being a member of a terror organization. Amla was detained soon after the kidnapping of IDF soldier Gilad Schalit in June 2006.
