IDF forces were fired upon on Friday night around the area of Missufim, east of the central Gaza town of Deir el Ballah, according to a report by Israel Radio.

The IDF Spokesman's Office confirmed that the soldiers reported being fired upon from the general direction of Gaza and that IDF forces responded by firing back.

No damage or injuries were reported.
