In a joint operation carried out by the IDF, Israel Police and Israel Security Forces, it was revealed for the first time Wednesday that five Palestinian suspects were arrested in connection with a plot to attack military personnel over the Yom Kippur Holy Day.

An investigation into the incident discovered that the suspects, ranging in age from 16 to 39, had acquired weapons from an arms dealer in the West Bank, with the purpose of carrying out a shooting attack against IDF soldiers.

The weapons were confiscated during the investigation along with several vehicles belonging to the suspects.
