Israel will transfer the bodies of 130 terrorists to the Palestinian Authority in the coming days as a gesture of goodwill to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, according to Israeli media reports.

The move was reportedly approved by the government several weeks ago.

The process is already in motion with the involvement of the IDF Rabbinate in preparing the bodies.

The Almagor Terror Victims Association protested the government's decision to carry out the transfer without announcing the names of the terrorist to be transferred. Almagor accused the government of trying to make the transfer without permitting terror victims' families know whose bodies were being transferred in order to avoid public protests.
