Israeli Facebook users report social media site is down

Facebook users in Israel on Saturday reported problems with the site.
Users complained that the site will not update, and they are prevented from posting. Users have also noted issues with the photo-sharing social media site 'Instagram' which is owned by Facebook.
A tracker of social media sites called Down Detector showed that users in Europe and the United States were also experiencing difficulties with the site.
