'Israeli, Lebanese generals meet over border arrangements'

Israeli and Lebanese senior military officials met Monday under the auspices of UNIFIL to discuss the current situation on the Israel-Lebanon border, including an implementation of Resolution 1701 including Israeli withdrawal from the area as defined by the UN drawn Blue Line, and the demarcation of the maritime border, Lebanese news daily As-Safir reported.

According to As-Safir, the IDF had carried out military and airforce drills involving live explosions and mock attacks along the Lebanese border.
