18-year-old Guy Hendel from the northern kibbutz Lohamei HaGeta'ot died in an accident in his hotel while on holiday in Andorra, the Foreign Ministry said Thursday evening.

Hendel, a high school graduate, went on a week-long holiday with his friend and was due to return home on Saturday.

The Foreign Ministry said that Hendel's body had been transferred to Madrid ahead of being flown to Israel.
