US Secretary of State John Kerry's scheduled meeting with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has been delayed, according to Israel Radio. No reason was given for the delay.

Kerry announced earlier Friday that he would make a surprise visit to Ramallah to meet with the Palestinian leader. The secretary is in the region to broker an agreement between Israel and the Palestinians over the terms of the anticipated renewal of peace negotiations on a final status deal.
