Finance Minister Yair Lapid lamented former Bank of Israel governor Jacob Frenkel's decisions on Monday to withdraw from his nomination to return to the position."What a missed opportunity. Frenkel could have been just what we needed," Lapid wrote on his Facebook following Frenkel's announcement.
