Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid said Monday that he had spoken to Jonathan Pollard and he would do everything in his power to help the imprisoned Israeli agent.

Speaking at a Yesh Atid faction meeting, Lapid said that Pollard had called his wife Esther while she was meeting Lapid and he had taken the phone and spoken to him.

" I cried. He is in poor shape. He is desperate and broken. We will do everything possible to help him," Lapid said.
