Opposition Leader Tzipi Livni (Kadima) said regarding the UN Security Council vote on settlements in the West Bank that "Israel is now in political collapse."

She said that we saw "14 Security Council members and one American veto, and this barely embarrasses US.""We now find that Germany, Britain and France - all friends of Israel who want to help it defend itself - voted against the positions of Israel, and the US is being pushed into a corner and finds itself with Israel against the world," Livni said.
