Defense Minister Ehud Barak held talks in London on Thursday with top defense and political officials about the ongoing upheaval in the Middle East and the stalled peace process with the Palestinians.

On Friday morning, Barak met with British Chief of Defense Staff Gen. David Richards and Foreign Secretary William Hague and Defense Secretary Liam Fox. Barak will head at the end of the week to the United States for talks with senior officials from the Obama administration.
