Long-awaited rail line between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv conducts first test run

The new, long-awaited rail line between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv conducted its first test run on Sunday, according to Channel 2.

The rail line is set to significantly cut travel time between the two cities and is due to open in 2018.

According to Channel 2, the journey took only 28 minutes.
