A man was killed on Highway 6 on Sunday morning, after he pulled over to the shoulder, stepped out of his car and was hit by a passing car. He had been driving on the southbound side of Highway 6 between the Nesharim and Shorek junctions. Magen David Adom paramedic Moshe Shoham Gelbstein said that the man was found on the shoulder, lying down, not breathing and without a pulse. He was suffering from a very serious head wound and shortly after finding him MDA paramedics ruled him dead at the scene. Police said the victim was a man in his 30s from Beit Hanina. Not long after that accident, a 25-year-old man was seriously wounded in a two-car collision on Highway 6 near the Ayal junction.
