Measles exposure reported at Tel Aviv club, Netanya trampoline park

The Health Ministry announced that a person infected with measles was at the Tel Aviv club "Duplex" on Friday, March 8 between 12:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. and at the "Jump" trampoline park in Netanya between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.'People who were born during or after 1957 and were not vaccinated with two doses of the measles vaccine should go to the nearest health office to determine whether they need to receive the vaccination," The Ministry of Health advised.Measles outbreaks have caused a lot of commotion in Israel over the past several months. On Tuesday there was also suspected outbreaks in Tiberias on a bus and in Kiryat Malakhi library, a city near Ashdod.As of November, more than 1,000 people have been diagnosed with measles, the Health Ministry announced.The outbreak has also hit New York City and officials believe the initial outbreak was caused by an unvaccinated child who acquired the disease while in Israel. The New York Orthodox Jewish community has seen 121 cases of measles infections between February and October, the New York Health Department reported at the end of February.
